Superstitions

I'm not a superstitious person but here are some superstitions, I hope you like it.
ButterflyIf you see a butterfly it means good luck that day.
Right foot When we leave a house we should always start with the right foot to avoid bad luck.


Shooting starsIf you see a shooting star make a wish, because it is assured that it will be accomplished.

Umbrella -
Some people say that opening it inside a house brings misfortunes and problems for families.

Superstitions


We don’t believe in superstitions, like crossing under a ladder, broken mirrors and black cats. Bad luck is just something that happens when we don’t see it coming.
And there are good superstitions like, knocking on the wood three times, rabbit paws, etc.

Walking under a ladder is bad luck
When kneading the bread, the baker designs 3 crosses in the mass and prays: God bless, God made bread, God give you his blessing And grow.
When the bread falls to the ground, it must be kissed by those who drop it, because our Lord is there.

Superstitions


Superstition is the word that people use to explain the bad or the very good things that happen during the day, the week, the month or the year. I belive in superstitions but I don’t worry about that very much. Many people tell me that I shouldn’t do this, or eat this, or make things like break a mirror or walk under the ladder.
Talking about superstitions make people belive that they shouldn’t make bad things, and I think this is a good one!

Superstitions







We are not superstitious but we know some superstitions:

Friday the thirteenth is an unlucky day.
To find a four-leaf clover is to find good luck.
If you walk under a ladder, you will have bad luck.
If a black cat crosses your path you will have bad luck.
To break a mirror will bring you seven years bad luck.
To open an umbrella in the house is to bring bad luck .
To find a horseshoe brings good luck.
A cat has nine lives.
Eating fish makes you smart.
It is bad luck to sleep on a table .
After receiving a container of food, the container should never be returned empty.
A lock of hair from a baby's first haircut should be kept for good luck.
A bird that comes in your window brings bad luck .

SUPERSTITION


HI!!!
Let’s talk about one thing that many people believe and many people don’t : Superstitions.
I don’t believe in that. Why do we have 7 years of bad luck when we break a mirror, or why I should not see a black cat? I’ve done both and I am not an unlucky boy.
I don’t let my parents see my basketball games because I think that they give me bad luck, but I don’t think that is a superstition, I just don’t like because when they are there I can’t concentrate. In New Year’s Eve, when the counting (10,9,8,7,6,5,4,3,2,1,0) has started, I put my feet up. People say that it gives good luck for the next year, but I just do it because my family does it too.

Superstitions


Hello I don't believe in superstitions but may there some well know such as:


  • a black cat gives bad luck, the mirror or even that some people give bad luck ... and varied thinks but I do not believe it.

  • In Portugal use to used frogs in the shops,coffees,etc... For gypsy go out.

In Italy there are more superstitions for example:

-the black cat if it crosses the road

-the horseshoes are lucky

-the ladder is unlucky if you pass under it

-if you break the mirror you will have got seven years of bad luck

-if you open the umbrella in the house, this brings bad luck
